Big Fish Games - What a fun site!

This site is so fun! I make myself finish all my work for the day before playing any of these games because they are really addictive! But boy do they take your mind off your problems. Now let me say, I am not a person who plays computer games! Having said that, I will honestly say these are the most fun, they really are. And all the ones I have looked at are family oriented and just plain fun family games that don't require you to kill armies, play online, or see a lot of blood and guts, OR drag out a big manual to learn.

I was actually skeptical but every time I talked to my friend she would say oh, I'm going to go play so and so game at Big Fish Games. After about the 5th time I decided to investigate. All I can say is give it a try because you can download any game as a free trial and play for 1 hour. If you don't like it, forget about it, delete it. If you do like it, you can buy the game for as little as $6.99. I'm embarrassed to say how many games I have tried so far! But they really are relaxing and the quality is so good too. Also, there are never any ads, adware, spyware, or anything like that which will find its way to your computer. They guarantee this, so I feel quite safe about getting games from them.

So below, I will talk about some of the games I have tried. Beware of becoming addicted! :o)

Well here was my first game I downloaded to try, Lost Treasures of El Dorado. My friend actually was over here and sat down at my laptop and MADE me play it. Again, I have to stress to you, neither of us are computer game playing types. Both of us are in our 40s and very sensible about most things. But I have to agree with her, this is an easy-to-learn and very entertaining and relaxing game to play. Very very simple to learn, but sorry to say very addicting.

Well, the next game I downloaded to try was Heroes of Hellas which is quite a bit like Lost Treasures of El Dorado above. So I knew I would like it, but wasn't sure if it would be different enough to be worthwhile. It is! I can say that this game is truly just as much fun as Lost Treasures. It is similar enough that if you love one you will love the other, yet different enough too. Highly recommend! Five happy stars for this one too!

Before I found the above-mentioned games, this is the only kind of game I really liked. I have a friend who lives in another state and we often play online Scrabble together, but this is similar to Scrabble and you can play it alone so you don't have to sit and wait for others to take their turn. I really like this game! I would say that it is not quite as addicting as the first two but it is a totally different type of game so it depends on what you're in the mood for. I recommend it and give this one 4 happy stars!

Another word game I really like is Flip Words 2. One reason I enjoy this game is the object is not only to make words out of the letters but to also solve the phrase up on top. Sort of like hangman. What you do is find words and the first letter of your word is used to solve the phrase. For example, if you found the word, "guitar," the letter "G" would be used to solve the phrase, assuming it contained the letter G somewhere in it. There is a list of all the letters, and the ones you have used are automatically crossed off. I really enjoy this game and recommend it. Four happy stars!
